Spiritual Introduction

(Constitutions) God calls us to be lovers. We wish to place ourselves at His disposal so that His love can be manifested through us to all men. We hear God's call in our daily lives and through the Magisterium of the Church. The love of God is revealed and renewed in us by the presence of the Holy Ghost, our source of new life and our source of unity in love. Our call to become a Franciscan as a member of The Brothers of the Annunciation of Mary is in response to this call of the Holy Ghost and, as we grow in love, we share the promise that God lives in us and brings His love to perfection in us. Our call to the religious state is a gift from the Almighty. Therefore, we must preserve and protect our own vocation and that of all our Brothers.
